Amplify the group movement experience with the 16-arm Octaband, the ideal tool for leading large groups and creating unique moments of togetherness in your residence!
The 16-arm Octaband is the large-group version of the original Octaband, letting up to 16 participants connect at once around a shared centre of movement. Perfectly suited to larger group activities, this tool creates a cooperative movement and proprioceptive sensory stimulation experience that is especially effective at engaging even the most reserved residents or those with significant cognitive impairments.
The 16-arm Octaband is especially effective for:
- Large group activities in the community room or dining room
- Shared proprioceptive and tactile sensory stimulation
- Social and emotional connection between residents
- Inclusion of residents at all levels of mobility and cognition
- Gentle, safe upper-body gross motor skills
